Are you ready to play a critical and proactive role in a complex international company, which operates the entire value chain across the globe in more than 65 countries? BoConcept is looking for a Learning & Development Manager, who will secure a L&D strategy that empowers employees and managers in both HQ, Country Organization as well as franchisees. This includes development in both competencies and performance.

As our new Learning & Development Manager, you must pro-actively ensure an efficient learning platform that delivers a high level of product, sales and leadership knowledge with the purpose of giving our customers an exceptional, unique and friendly shopping experience, documented through NPS and Mystery Shopping.

Key responsibilities include:
One of the most important tasks in this position will be to secure-, develop and update the platform and tools for an efficient introduction and training of new and current Franchisees, Store Managers and Sales Associates in products, sales and leadership knowledge. You must identify current and future needs, and design effective solutions that enable us to deliver business results and win as a team.

Furthermore, you must:

  • Update and align L&D strategy and operational plans together with your team
  • Conduct seminars for country organization and internal HQ employees in BoConcept
  • Ensure a blended learning platform using the BoConcept Academy, e-learning, webinars and video podcasts
  • Conduct sales training to local sales staff in Europe and Asia including plan, prepare, conduct, follow up and report
  • Ensure excellent communication, teamwork and alignment with key stakeholders in HQ and globally, and act as a trusted partner
  • Spar actively with team members and stakeholders to define and translate business requirements into strategic programme actions, and ensure design, development and implementation of effective, cost-conscious learning solutions

You possess good structure with ability to set direction and lead across a wide variety of initiatives and programs at various levels of development and optimization. You have a passion for learning, development and coaching, and gets inspired by supporting others to achieve personal growth and high performance.

Your background is not essential but probably you can recognize:

  • A relevant educational background, e.g. a commercial bachelor degree or other relevant master degree, coach and/or pedagogical degree or similar
  • Several years of experience with L&D and training
  • Several years of experience with sales and sales management
  • Experience with online learning and e-learning platforms
  • An organized, detail oriented and self-motivated personality and can work independently within teams asking the right questions to get the job done correctly and efficient

You refer to Head of Retail Operations. We prefer that you live in Denmark, but it is not crucial. The main work base will be in Herning in a new Activity Based Workplace, where we also offer the flexibility to work from home. You must expect between 50-100 days of travel per year.
