Do you want to use your skills to improve and simplify the life for millions of people with chronic diseases? Are you passionate about working together with highly skilled colleagues to get the next simple and reliable medical devices to the marked? Then this is your moment, as we are looking for new colleagues to join our Device Research and Development organisation in Hillerød.

About the department

Device R&D is an area within Global R&D that is responsible for the development of medical devices for disease self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. Device R&D has a long and outstanding track-record of developing the best, most innovative and widely-used injection devices in the world, and our projects are on the cutting edge of technology to meet real user needs for the benefit of people with different chronic diseases.

We are an international team responsible for some of the design control processes; defining and managing requirements, planning and reporting on verification/validation, mitigating safety risk and preparing device documentation for submission. All of which are necessary to bring the next generation injection device to a manufacturable and marketable product.

The Jobs

We are expanding our project portfolio and hence, we are looking for several new colleagues within the positions of Systems Engineer, Test Engineer, Safety Risk Manager and Project Coordinator to take part in our exciting journey.

Systems Engineer

Your will be responsible for several tasks, e.g. requirement management, configuration management, change control and design transfer to production. You will become technical anchor towards external development partners and have a key role in preparing submission documentation and – maybe most importantly – helping to solve technical issues across the project.

Test Engineer

As Test Engineer, you are responsible for verification plans, test protocols and reports. You will be coordinating all the projects’ test activities covering explorative testing, design verification and shelf life between the project, testers and external test houses.

Safety Risk Manager

Your main responsibilities will include the establishment of safety risk analyses according to ISO14971 to ensure that the device is safe and can be approved by regulatory authorities. Within all tasks, you will be expected to work with a large range of internal and external stakeholders, and you will play an important role in connecting these stakeholders across professional areas of expertise.

Project Coordinater

In this role, you will be given a broad range of responsibilities and experience a variety of tasks both within the team and across the Novo Nordisk organisation. Your main task will be to ensure progress within the project. You will be expected to plan, coordinate and follow up on project activities via engagement of both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

You hold an academic degree within Engineering. You may be a newly graduated talent with a personal journey that reflects high passion and ambition, but preferably you have more than 2 years of relevant work experience within medical devices or another highly regulated industry, e.g. automotive or aerospace. Experience with 21 CFR part 820 and/or ISO 13485 is considered an advantage, but not a must.

You bring a "can do" spirit, a healthy common sense and a good sense of humour to your work - even when the pressure is on. You are able to analyse and understand complex structures and systems and can communicate them in a comprehensible way.

You are a strong team player, result-oriented and as a person you thrive in a busy environment. Proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.
