ALK is looking for a Research Laboratory Technician to work in the Immunology Department.
You will be an active member of the team, and in this position, you will assist in research focused on allergic diseases and the mode of action of allergen specific Immunotherapy. You will contribute to the planning and execution of laboratory experiments within immunology and allergy research to support drug discovery efforts within Global Research.
Responsibilities:
With your technical background you will support our experimental research platform with novel, state-of-the-art mouse in-vitro and in-vivo approaches within Food, pollen and house dust mite allergies.

ALK is looking for a Research Laboratory Technician to work in the Immunology Department.
You will be an active member of the team, and in this position, you will assist in research focused on allergic diseases and the mode of action of allergen specific Immunotherapy. You will contribute to the planning and execution of laboratory experiments within immunology and allergy research to support drug discovery efforts within Global Research.
Responsibilities:
- Performing cell-based assays on immune-cells derived from mouse organ and tissues
- Performing experiments using state-of-art techniques eg. Flow Cytometry (FACS), Proliferation, Multiplex based cytokine analysis (MSD- Mesoscale)
- Planning and executing of experiments and data analysis
- The position will involve some work with mouse models of allergy research
- Maintaining inventory of supplies, materials, equipment, service contracts and daily business activities as needed for laboratory operations
- Secure good documentation, properly document study reports in electronic laboratory notebooks
- You will be expected to write and modify SOPs, WINs and laboratory protocols in order to meet the needs of research projects as required
- A strong work ethic for generating high quality data

Required qualifications:
- Educated as Laboratory technician preferably 4-8 years of experience from working in research lab in University or Industry
- Experience working within Immunology research from Industry would be a clear advantage
- You have the ability to plan, execute and analyse data from immunology experiments
- Experience working with immune cells and cellular immunological methods would be a need
- Experience working with handling of mice, would be a clear advantage
- Strong team player with equally strong ability to work independently
- An open, well-organised and eager to learn person would be a need
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
