We are looking for a Business Analyst who are able to deliver research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, interpreting data, and making recommendations based on the findings.
You will be part of Group Business Development reporting into the head of department and help conceptualize the strategic initiatives to support the effort in creating the future commercial footprint of Faerch. In the capacity of your role, you will be a trusted advisor to senior members of the leadership of Faerch.
Your role
Together with the Business Development team, you will be proactive in looking for opportunities to expand Faerch’s presence into new segments. This work includes bringing the segment strategies to life by analyzing the market situation to keep up with the ongoing trends and to support the sales teams conceptualizing commercial plans to penetrate the market in the best possible way.
You will engage with industry experts to keep track of the developments in the different markets and get the customer opinions to identify strengths and weaknesses of new product launches.

Your primary responsibilities
- Active participant in driving and executing strategic commercial projects
- Perform analytical tasks to identify new sales opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies
- Prepare presentations in connection with business development activities
- Deliver sales and productivity reports to management
- Ensure that any project plan is drafted and followed
- Support ad-hoc requests and follow-up on developments
Your profile
- M.Sc. in Economics, Finance, Marketing, International Business or Business Development (other profiles within business and engineering will also be considered)
- Experience working in corporate business development, management consulting, marketing or commercial excellence will be an advantage
- A self-starter with the ability and confidence to liaise with contacts at the highest level
- Outstanding analytical thinker with strong business acumen and the unique add-on of an entrepreneurial mindset
- Good problem solving, decision-making skills and good organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) is mandatory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel is required
