“By acquiring a broad knowledge of IT and Automation in the construction phase of a pharmaceutical facility, the Manufacturing IT On-site Coordinator is an important contributor to the implementation of the critical network installations on our construction sites.
This entails ensuring streamlined processes, meeting milestones and being the person of contact to secure IT deliveries underpinning the automation of process equipment. As an example - designing and planning the construction of network/switch rooms to ensure highly automated production facilities. And also prepare all necessary prerequisites to allow the automation department to initiate testing of production loops.”

How you might spend your days
As a Manufacturing IT On-site Coordinator, you’ll be working with an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be:
- A member of the team delivering turn-key IT solutions through complex projects for some of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world
- Developing optimal layout and implementation of IT switch rooms, all in manufacturing environments
- Ensuring network readiness for commissioning of HMI, process- and automation systems
- Ensuring planning, estimation, and coordination of tasks also across disciplines (HVAC, Electrical installations, automation, instrumentation, …)
- An active part of the project teams and participate on equal terms as your colleagues

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You have a technical background within for example Manufacturing IT infrastructure, and knowledge within some of the following areas :
o Windows server, VMware
o Network: Experience with industrial ethernet like Profinet or Cisco IP network
o Automation system such as DCS, PLC and SCADA
o IIOT: Basic understanding of structure and function - You can be fresh out of school or have a few years of experience eventually from an automated manufacturing environment
- You might have experience from Pharma/Regulated business (not a requirement)
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
