Fleet Operations, part of Maersk Fleet Management and Technology, is responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of our customer’s products, while onboard our ships.
We take care of the day to day management of the approximately 350 Maersk owned vessels and refrigerated containers.
Such responsibility includes the maintenance of our assets and the pursuit of the highest possible energy efficiency.
The function is highly international and consists of a mix of shore based teams located in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Mumbai, Singapore, Norfolk and our dedicated crews onboard our vessels

Key responsibilities
The Fleet Performance Analyst is an important member of the Fleet Operations Mgmt Team and reports directly to the VP, Head of Fleet Operations.
The key responsibilities are:
• In collaboration with Maersk Technology, develop, maintain , and execute the product roadmap for Fleet Group Dashboards, Fleet Operation’s platform supporting performance analytics and performance management for the Maersk own fleet
• Collaborate with functional teams within FMT to develop use cases and KPIs and translate these into well-defined product requirements
• Continuously review business needs and identify technological avenues that support strategic priorities. Liaise with Maersk Technology to obtain the required resources for development of technology products through quarterly ECRs
• Ownership and delivery of the weekly technical off-service incidents report and technical off-service statistic for the monthly FMT scorecard
• In collaboration with Business Finance and key other stakeholders, facilitate performance discussions by delivering ad-hoc analysis
• Maintain and improve business processes covering the owned fleet databases as well as the Fleet Operations Sharepoint
• Responsible for the circulation of the daily 24-hour fleet operations report.
We are looking for
A highly analytical, curious, self-driven and collaborative colleague with following background and experience:
• Education in engineering or business management (master or bachelor), with focus on data analytics
• High proficiency in the use of analysis and visualization applications to deliver data driven solutions such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau. Familiarity with coding languages such as Python or R is a not a pre-requisite but desirable
• Ability to effectively present insights and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across functions
• Prior experience in a project role with “agile” applications development is considered an advantage
• Ability to work independently.
