An exciting role where you will drive the overall financial planning and reporting for Maersk SG&A & Technology and continuous improvement of same to keep high quality, relevance and ensure that it delivers actionable insight for stakeholders.
You will drive continuous improvement of our new cloud-based financial planning platform to leverage advanced insights & automation.
You will also drive the budget and forecasting cycles across Maersk SG&A & Technology incl. governance and timelines.
Build strong working relationships with Maersk SG&A & Technology and Finance stakeholders is a key area in this role as well.

Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst you will drive the financial reporting integration for Maersk SG&A & Technology ensuring consistency, quality and timeliness of same.
Other key tasks:
- Create and drive the organisation financial guidelines, timelines and financial governance
- Proactively engages with Maersk SG&A & Technology senior stakeholders and enable their decision making through relevant financial metrics, reporting and analysis
- Formulate requirements on financial reporting tooling in collaboration with product owner, development team and off-shore support team
- Perform proactive analysis of the financial data and evaluate and advise on new technologies and tools to enhance quality of financial analysis
- Challenge forecasting, explanations and overspend
- Facilitates financial reviews at Senior Leadership level
- Drive the reporting cycles across Maersk SG&A & Technology (Budget, Rolling Forecast, month-end)
- Supports the entire Maersk SG&A & Technology Finance team on all matters within reporting, consolidation and analysis
- Liaises with our off-shore operations to ensure quality, timeliness and continuous offshoring of transactional tasks
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Business administration, finance or accounting combined with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience from global companies working in FP&A or Partnering role.
Knowledge of SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), Power BI & Power Pivot will be an advantage
You have very strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
You are clear in and concise in strong storytelling and have excellent presentation skills.

- Have detail orientation with ability to maintain helicopter view
- Thrive with collaboration across functions, departments and geographies
- Are creative in problem solving and solution oriented
- Have an analytical mindset
