We offer
You will become part of a newly established team focusing on securing Maersk Line’s supply of green fuels to enable our zero-carbon transition. The team is about to expand at a rapid speed, as we are building a new internal organization. As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will support the senior management with decision making. You will be the go-to person for financial insights and deep dive analysis, portfolio view, budgeting & forecasting, performance management and project evaluations and approvals. Therefore, it is extremely important that you quickly learn about the business, understand company’s current and historical performance and be curious about the external events and future trends and how that may impact future performance of the company.
Your ability to juggle with multiple deliverables and prioritize adequately as well as excellent stakeholder management and partnering skills are key for succeeding in this role.
The role is based in Copenhagen, but scope is global, and few travel days should be expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior management in translating the strategic plan in actionable initiatives / targets
- Own the annual budget and RoFo process and the coordination across departments
- Responsible for the reporting and consolidation of Actuals, Budget and Rolling Forecast both internally and towards the group
- Collaborate with the accounting team during month end closing and budget to actual reporting
- Provide visibility of the financial performance of the company trough variance and in-depth root cause analysis
- Provide financial as well as non-financial insights to senior management, through monthly reports, dashboard and presentations and enable decision making on performance improvement and risk mitigation
- Drive performance management across departments. Set KPIs, targets and prepare/publish monthly performance dashboards
- Responsible for the portfolio overview and keeping the portfolio model and assumption book updated at all times
- Drive the annual capital allocation process
- Support with business integration and divestment of assets
- Continuously work with accounting and finance business partners in standardizing, simplifying and automating financial processes across the portfolio.
Who we are looking for - skills needed
As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or MBA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant FP&A experience in a multinational company and preferably with high-scale infrastructure projects
- Advanced technical skills in Excel & Power Point (pivot tables, financial & statistical functions, presentations, charts)
- Structured, detail-oriented and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence technical, business, and operational decisions
- Team-player and have a collaborative attitude
- Comfortable working with stakeholders across functions and levels
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English.
