Key responsibilities
- Drive data driven decisions across Ocean Asset Partnerships
- Develop optimization models
- Develop best in class dashboards and reporting tools
- Drive gameplan and category strategy development across categories
- Presenting procurement analysis to stakeholders
Specific tasks
- Conduct spend analytics across categories and products
- Apply latest available tools in reporting of main KPIs (Power BI, Power Query etc.)
- Constantly develop and improve our spend transparency
- Ensure external cost drivers are embedded in category negotiations and strategies
- Drive KPI monitoring across the teams
- Support on ad hoc projects
Who we are looking for
- Min. master’s degree within economics, supply chain management or similar
- Analytical mindset and ability to provide clear and simple conclusions from large datasets
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement should cost analysis
- You have a process optimization mindset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Expert in Excel, Power BI or similar programs
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
The Team
You will be based in Copenhagen as part of the Project Management & Analytics team which is part of the Ocean Asset Partnerships department. Ocean Asset Partnerships is responsible for procurement and supply of goods to our Global fleet of vessels, and for a large number of strategic supplier partnerships. We are a young, energetic and data driven team which is responsible for projects and data analysis across the APMM marine equipment and service supplier base. You will work in close cooperation with a large network of stakeholders from different brands/business unit located mainly in Denmark, India, China and Singapore.
Our overall mission is to ensure that every dollar spent by Maersk is spent professionally and in line with our core values. Working with us, you will get exposure to a wide range of categories, and you will be a main contributor to a challenging and interesting supply chain setup focusing on delivering the best procurement service to our vessels.
