We offer

A super exciting role where you will support the organization by transforming data into new insights that drive business value and improve the decision-making process for finance and other functions within Maersk, across Ocean and Logistics portfolios.

You will play a vital part in establishing a data-driven culture and improving performance and decisions in business processes/platforms by owning, shaping and evolving a range of BI products related to Standard Cost and Yield, used in pricing, routing and performance management.

You must be familiar with the technical side of business intelligence work, but at the same time able to think on a company-wide, strategic level with a strong business partnering mindset and business acumen.

This role is based in Copenhagen, where you will join a fun and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

You will help define scope, priorities, requirements, and approach for Standard Cost and Yield products and communicate plans to departmental stakeholders.

You will take ownership of part of the Standard Cost and Yield roadmap and backlog on daily basis.

Furthermore you will be working with stakeholders within and outside the finance function to understand requirements and design BI solutions that address the needs from the organization, with clear business and financial insights.

Other Key tasks:

  • Design mock-ups and prototypes of the desired solutions
  • Working with GDA in managing the roadmap and ensuring changes are delivered at quality
  • Engage with One Pricing Engine team, gathering requirements and developing sustainable solutions to support OPE vision
  • Run deep-dive analysis in requested business areas to support ad-hoc decision making
  • Supports Products Owners driving and maintaining STCY Backlog, incl. validation, alignment and prioritization
  • Model and optimise datasets for further frontend usage as well as self-service reporting
  • Provide insight, influence and impact business decisions
  • Documentation of Data Enablement processes
  • Pursue philosophy of one set of numbers.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a degree in finance, econometrics, business engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent combined with some years of work experience in analytical positions, finance business partnering, performance management or equivalent.

You have broad experience in business intelligence, visual analytics or data science.

You are a super user of front-end tools (e.g. Power BI) and experience with SQL, Databricks, Dataiku DSS, Python, R or similar is preferred.

You have proven trusted partnering skills – key parameters are meeting deadlines and accurately display and convey information.

Furthermore you:

  • Have a combination of technical skills and business knowledge to drive product innovation at scale
  • Have excellent analytical, process flow and problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with ability to condense detailed subject matters into clear and effective communications
  • Have strong business acumen, including IT, data and process integration skills
  • Are an excellent team player with the ability to work both independently, as well as and as part of a cross-departmental team where innovative solutions are required
  • Have the ability to influence and drive change across multiple functional units
  • Are results oriented and drives issues to closure.
