Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke is in charge of the volunteer camp area during Roskilde Festival 2024! We are therefore looking for an intern to join us in organizing and coordinating 300 volunteers from Denmark and abroad. The task:The task:The position comes with full access to the festival and all other volunteer benefits like secret concerts, access to a cosy volunteer hub with the cheapest food and drinks at the festival.Also, you will join a great team in MS that will support your internship and make sure you have some unforgettable months in our community and some solid text for your CV.Here are some of the working tasks that you can expect within the position:Help the Volunteer coordinator recruit, manage and otherwise plan for 300 volunteer participants that will be working together with us at the festival. Help facilitate communication and tasks among different working groups within the project (e.g. supervisors, volunteers that will be on shift etc.) Help the Volunteer coordinator during the festival with ad hoc tasks or anything that may come up. You will of course have time to enjoy the music and the community as well. We are service guards at the staff campsite, which means that we patrol the campsite making sure that it stays tidy, calm and a nice place to be. This means making sure the tents are in the right places, that people are not too noisy and that it all stays clean. The staff campsite is the cleanest and most calm of all the camping areas at the festival because it is there for the volunteers to rest and sleep during the festival. We also check wristbands at the entrance to the Volunteer Camping Area.
