Sealand Europe and Mediterranean (SEM) is a brand of the A.P. Moller Maersk group providing container logistics solutions within Europe and Mediterranean region.

We offer


A chance to impact performance management of SEM by delivering financial analysis and performance management to the senior leadership team based on close interaction with business and finance stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing deadlines and ensuring quality of our financial reports, analysis and forecasts to support management decisions and the overall SEM strategy.

An opportunity to drive the strategy implementation in SEM as overall project manager for strategy execution, coordinating with all project managers and giving status updates on deliverables and plans to the senior leadership team in SEM.

As we are on a transformation journey following the launch of an exciting strategy, you will be key in implementing a solid governance framework towards execution of the strategy.

You will be exposed to our senior leadership on a regular basis and develop a network with stakeholders in SEM as well as wider Maersk group.

Key responsibilities


• Own the Finance calendar for SEM ensuring important performance activities and meetings are well planned and executed.

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and other periodic business performance reviews with key input providers and the senior management.

• Drive inputs and deliverables for quarterly Board meetings.

• Perform deep dive analysis and financial modelling.

• Own and drive various performance reports for the senior leadership team.

• Own and drive governance and execution of our strategy.

• Own and drive monthly and periodic business forecast process.

• Adhoc projects and tasks.

• Be the Business Partner to our CFO driving business performance and execution on our strategy.

• Develop and maintain relationship with stakeholders in the wider Maersk Group.

We are looking for


An individual who is curious with a growth mindset and possess the following attributes:

• Strong background in high-impact finance roles, with a proven track record of driving business results through financial insights.
• Thorough understanding of finance and a sincere interest in working with the business to drive performance and generate value.
• An 'expert analyst ' - being able to zoom in on the relevant details, while never losing sight of the big picture.
• Outstanding communication skills, able to adapt message to purpose, audience, and desired output.
• Adept at stakeholder management and able to build strong relationships.
• Highly process oriented, structured and can effectively manage high intensity, tight deadlines and urgent deliverables.
• Demonstrates self-leadership skills, is a self-starter who takes initiatives and a team player.

Technical Skills:
• At least 5-7 years of experience as a financial analyst or as a finance business partner.
• Strong Excel and power point skills and extensive experience in using business intelligence platforms like power BI etc.
• Experience in developing financial models.
• Ability to review large sets of data and derive conclusions and actions.
• ‘Connecting the dots’ – analyse different aspects of the busines and their impact on business results.
• Ability to achieve output outside of direct influence.
• The corporate language is English, so you should be fluent in oral as well as written English.
