Reporting to the Head of Ecotow in Svitzer, the successful candidate will join the team at our Head Office based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Key responsibilities
In this newly established position, you will be responsible for levelling up Ecotow’s data insights and capabilities to support us continuing to develop the best possible value propositions which enable future growth.
Ensuring the data integrity, incorporating and visualizing this in a dashboard is of great importance in this role. You will be responsible for engaging with the wider business both HQ team and regional teams to best understand requirements and improvements in integration and map these artifacts.
Your responsibilities also include using your DAX skills in continuing to improve our carbon dashboard as well as the processes that support its use and allow accurate measurement of both emissions and product uptake. You will work closely with the Ecotow team, so the Head of Ecotow, our commercial lead and technical head as well as the wider Svitzer’s community to ensure resources and assets are available to validate or invalidate ideas.
We are looking for
You are passionate about decarbonization and great at building dashboarding but also you enjoy engaging with stakeholders and customers. You enjoy working in an energetic environment and like seeing your efforts making a difference to both your team members, to Ecotow and Svitzer.
As our ideal candidate, you are:
- Customer focused: you always put the customer first and have the toolbox and experience to identify and validate key customer problems
- Business case oriented: you have the ability to work with a brief list of assumptions
- Project oriented: you have strong project management skills allowing you to follow multiple project elements
- Happy to go that extra mile: you lead the way in every aspect of the Ecotow data process, from crafting the inputs in Power Bi using your DAX skills to executing on the visualization; to gathering customer insights to presenting this to the team. The dashboard will need to evolve with the product and customer needs you will own the development roadmap for this.
- Able to manage failure and expectations: you make others aware that future is always uncertain; you are comfortable with uncertainty and see failure as an opportunity to learn and iterate towards a solution
- Willing to change you are willing to take the first steps and inspire others to follow
- Curious: you love to deep dive into new domains
- Optimistic: you believe obstacles are just a trigger for change
- Can flex between Fast and furious to methodical and precise
- Digital and future tech savvy: you have background in or experience with digital products and their use
You have a relevant Bachelor or master’s degree and proficiency in both oral and written English as this is our working language. If based in Denmark must also hold a valid Danish residence and work permit.
