Join our Offshore Wind Team

Our Offshore Wind Team is one of the largest in the world, and we provide engineering and design services worldwide out of offices in Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Hamburg, London and Beijing. We represent a truly international and dynamic environment and undertake projects in many parts of the world.

As Business Development Assistant at our Copenhagen office, you will support our managers in business development and our project managers in day-to-day proposal and project management. In addition, you will support our Offshore Wind Team in the general office organisation.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Record possible projects as well as offers and orders in our project tool
  • Participate in the development of tenders and assist in starting the proposal process
  • Assist the proposal manager on all administrative matters including handling of documentation and project creation in our inhouse software to ensure a well-defined and on-track proposal process
  • Support the Proposal and Project Team
  • Prepare order confirmation and invoicing
  • Create and set up projects in our project tool and Windows Explorer
  • Assist in resource planning
  • Assist in development and updating of schedules
  • Control costs and processing status
  • Support the preparation of pre-qualifications and proposals for existing or prospective clients
  • Assist in the client relations process, ensuring that questions and needs are answered as completely as possible
  • Optimise the tender working process in the team and establish guidelines and templates for effective tender completion
  • Coordinate and support internal and external meetings and events
  • Prepare high-quality presentations for workshops and other events or meetings
  • Bring new ideas and methods for business development and client relation management into the team

At Ramboll, we support you in your personal and professional development right from the start. In order to get started with us, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Skilled in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with MS Project, Marketing Processes or Business Development and knowledge of various project management methods is advantageous.
  • You are customer-oriented and are characterised by a self-reliant, reliable and structured way of working.
  • A professional ability to express yourself verbally and in written form in English. You are not necessarily a Danish speaker, but it would be an advantage.
