Global Procurement within Ramboll Group is on an exciting journey to transforming our function into the best in class procurement team within our industry. You will get a chance to be part of an energetic and jovial team of global professionals who bring vast experience in procurement from many industries.Working as part of the Global Procurement Team, you will responsible for managing and delivering strategic and transformational projects in the coming year. The projects will be complex, involve stakeholders from across the globe in a large matrix organization. You will also play a significant role in building the project portfolio for Global Procurement in the future.This role is ideal for a procurement or project management professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can influence stakeholders to balance conflicting requirements, demands and priorities. The role offers a chance to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment while providing a chance to learn from the transformational changes that our team is currently undertaking.
The role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and you will report to the Director of Global Procurement.
Role descriptionLead and support the delivery of both strategic and operational projects on time, on budget and to specification. Ensuring efficient transition of a project from initiation, through detailed planning and design, to implementation, and closingEnsure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. Track and report on project delivery and progress, and identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issuesPerform day-to-day control of a project including preparing and presenting progress and issues to the appropriate steering committeesIdentify resources and assign responsibilities. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to agree responsibilities for deliverables and track progress against milestonesCommunicating across a wide span: engaging internal colleagues, external partners and business stakeholders at all levelsDevelop and implement change management strategies, tracking implementation progress and enable smooth transition of processes and/or systems and embed changePersonal QualificationsGreat interpersonal skills is an absolute requirement. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the organizationThe candidate can both keep an eye on the big picture, but is no stranger to paying careful attention to details when neededThe successful candidate will be proactive, process-driven and have excellent organizational skillsThe candidate should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present the concise information to broad range of stakeholdersProfessional QualificationsYou have completed a master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain management or Business and 5 years’ experience in the field. ORStrong experience successfully leading strategic projects within matrixed organization and delivering valueKnowledge and interest in as well as experience with procurement systems. An ability to see the required integrations within the technology landscape such as Procure-to-Pay, Contract Management System, Vendor Management Tools etcExperience of using a wide range of project management tools and techniques consistent with PRINCE2 and PMP methodologiesThorough knowledge of, and experience in, change management principles and methodologyWelcome to our Support OrganisationIn Ramboll’s Support Organisation we take pride in keeping Ramboll running smoothly, enabling bright minds throughout the organisation to focus on their areas of expertise as we tie together all parts of the business.
