3Shape is looking for a new colleague, with a good business mindset, to assist the development of our corporate partnerships. Can you assess the value of specific business partnerships and advanced technologies? Do you have a passion for success and energetic drive that enables you to target and close the strategic partnerships for our business? In this role you will be part of an agile group anchored in 3Shape’s Strategic Alliances team working on assignments for 3Shape’s senior management. You will refer directly to the Director of Strategic Alliances and take advantage of close cooperation and sparring with Senior Management, Product Management, R&D as well as external partners.

Impact: You will provide input to our overall strategic direction

In your role as Business Development Manager you will focus on both high-level evaluation and in-depth screening of partnership opportunities, as well as driving and implementing the partnerships selected for our business. This work plays a key part in the decision-making processes related to 3Shape’s future strategic direction.

Role: Together with your team members you will...

  • Proactively develop and maintain a pipeline of new partnership opportunities
  • Understand the dentists’ job and its pains and gains
  • Analyze a partnership’s market attractiveness, value propositions, risks, and fit with the existing 3Shape organization
  • Assess advanced (medical) technologies within the areas of 3D scanning, computer assisted design and manufacturing management (CAD/CAM), as well as software-based services
  • Manage and close partnership deals in collaboration with the remaining organization

Qualifications: Independent drive and analytical approach

  • You have an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and independent spirit
  • You have strong analytical skills, business insights, and strong personal drive to achieve success
  • You have several years of experience within end-to-end business development and partnerships including closing agreements and implementing solid contracts
  • You can work independently and possess a natural flair for interacting with all levels in an organization including a variety of commercial and technical functions.
  • You are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • You have a relevant master’s degree within natural science or engineering combined with business development knowledge. Or you have a master’s degree within business combined with some technology experience
  • Experience within strategic business development or partnerships from med-tech or high-tech industries, or project management or consulting is an advantage (not a requirement)
