You will join our Custom Application Development team
You will be part of a team with top professional colleagues who develop and maintain complex systems for our customers within NNIT’s strategic segments.
Together with your team you have the full responsibility for adding new functionality and features to new and existing systems within our portfolio. We have long-term agreements with our customers, which gives you the opportunity to develop the systems over a longer period, based on a deep understanding of the customers’ business needs.

Your responsibilities as a Technical Product Owner
As a Technical Product Owner, you will handle customer contact professionally and secure quality solutions within custom application development. Your tasks include:
- Overall technical responsibility for technical designs. Inclusion of both functional and non-functional requirements in the solution design
- To help projects balance between long term architecture objectives and concrete hands-on architecture by setting direction for system developers
- To analyze, document and clarify our customers’ business objectives in order to design viable technical solutions
- To drive/contribute to communities of practice and knowledge sharing between projects
- To work closely with your colleagues as well as internal stakeholders to guarantee the quality of deliverables for our customers
- To identify technical risks inherent in the solutions against the underlying business requirements
- Assist on tenders with technical designs and estimates
You are a team player and you will have an important role in our projects and share your knowledge with the team.
Your work meets high requirements in quality, best practice and documentation. Your communication and collaboration skills are frequently used in relation to both customers and colleagues. We work in global project teams with colleagues from Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Philippines, so intercultural work experience is an advantage in order to proactively handle the intercultural differences and further develop the team.
Your qualifications and experience
You are able to solve difficult technical challenges and create viable architecture for both new solutions and roadmaps for existing solution in order to ensure a solid foundation. You have experience with Microsoft solutions and your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep and up to date with the newest technologies.
You possess the following qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, a comparable degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
- At least 7 years of professional experience in the field of consultancy or IT architecture – within Microsoft solutions
- Excellent consulting mind-set coupled with the ability to develop the right solutions by exercising your drive for results
- You communicate with our international colleagues as well as our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good Danish and English skills in both speech and writing.
- Experience with customer interaction in a professional way with a high level of respect for the customer’s requirements
- Solid C# and .NET developer experience using the latest .NET Framework
- Experience with IT in the Public sector is an advantage
- An end-to-end mind-set regarding solution architecture where you apply all necessary solution components
You can work both in a team and independently and engage with your colleagues in knowledge sharing about the experience gained in your projects. You are good at explaining complex issues in a simple way and you find gratification in helping your colleagues to shine, because you know that a strong performance requires the engagement of the entire team.
