In this role you can make a real impact from day one, contribute to the Nordic program and support our teams to shape the transformation helping to build the future of beauty.

Your mission… Reporting into the Sustainability Director for L’Oréal Nordics; the role of the Sustainability Manager is to support key pillars of the L’Oréal for the Future program, including and as a priority to ensure we minimize our waste, so by 2030 - 100% of the waste generated in our sites will be recycled or reused. Here we are building a ‘‘Green Integrated Model’’ ensuring all business teams work every day to make business decisions which prevent, remonitise, donate and recycle potential waste. We are looking for a passionate and highly ambitious profile to drive the change and help us meet our bold ambitions.

You will...
1) Manage and animate the transversal teams across the business (business divisions, corporate teams, Europe zone) to deliver on your key initiatives: Support the Sustainability Director to share best practices on the L’Oréal for the Future program both internally and externally (industry events, customer meetings, business associations) Engage and energise our full organization around the L’Oréal for the Future program and in particular our mission on minimizing waste. Influence senior leadership to support your initiatives and drive action. Effectively manage and coordinate multi-functional, cross business project teams and ‘tribes’ to deliver on key action plans for relevant initiatives. Build strong relationships with our European zone team and your counterparts across Europe to gain inspiration and best practices to implement at a local Nordic level. Lead data reporting for your identified project areas. Working with your finance counterpart to organize and ensure robust reporting of data within systems. Design simple and clear reporting to continuously communicate progress and drive action.
2) Build a clear strategy and engagement plan to ensure all business teams minimize their potential waste: Build a clear strategy, targets and action plan based on data to drive maximum impact. Secure alignment from all stakeholders. Coordinate the 360° action plan with marketing, sales, supply chain & finance, sharing best practices, removing barriers, securing support and ensuring timely progress. Upskill and support business teams to integrate the action plan in all relevant daily business decisions. Support commercial teams across our 4 business divisions to implement the vision as part of their joint business planning with customers.
3) Lead our Remonetization Go-To-Market strategy & execution: Build a clear strategy to remonitise our products so no good product goes to waste. Lead our Nordic Friends & Family online webshop platform to enable staff and their friends/family to purchase ‘too good to go’ products. Manage the large cross functional project team to maximise the sales and ensure the operation runs smoothly. Analyse and optimize the sales and platform over time to maximise its impact including P&L management. Develop marketing and communication tools and complete CRM program to drive awareness and market the sales to all our employees and their Friends and Families. Lead our donation program and optimize the process to allow product donations to charitable partners across our Nordic markets.

Your profile… For you to be a success in this job, we expect you to have a relevant educational background on Masters level and +6 years of experience from a comparable job. Furthermore, you have: Business acumen with marketing/commercial experience at a Manager level or above. Experience in managing a budget and thorough understanding of P&Ls Stakeholder management at a senior level and overall strong interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves close liaison with all functions and business teams across our entire organization Strong presentation/communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire Passion for sustainability Outstanding rigor and attention to detail Excellent analytical skills Good understanding of FMCG operations/logistics an advantage
