Senior LCA and EPD project manager

<p>Ramboll’s department for Waste & Resource Management is looking for a skilled and experienced LCA project manager to lead our LCA and EPD portfolio in Denmark. We are busy helping our customers with a wide range of LCA and EPD tasks mainly in the private sector and we need a colleague who can lead and develop the services.</p><p>Come and bring your experience in LCA into play when we need to push the sustainability agenda and circular economy from big thoughts behind the desk to reality on the factory floor. Our department of part of Ramboll’s division for Environment & Health and we work a lot across markets and geographies. We are passionate about future-proofing waste solutions, LCA and EPD projects and a sustainable circular economy. We work with LCA on a broad range of clients and areas including on waste systems, energy installations and at product level, as well as EPDs for construction products, and we are a growing team of LCA specialists. We work across borders and collaborate with our colleagues around the world in many different divisions such as Water, Buildings and Energy.</p><p>In the department, we work for agencies, municipalities, waste companies and private production companies with advice from strategy and plans to implementation. The atmosphere in the department is informal, open and direct with short decision-making paths and great freedom under own responsibility. We enjoy the advantage of being part of a large global group with 2,400 colleagues in Environment & Health globally and 16,000 in the Ramboll group. You will report to our department manager Janus Kirkeby.</p><p><strong>Your most important tasks and areas of responsibility will be:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and execute projects either independently or in close cooperation with an appointed project manager or the project owner</li><li>Leading sales of our services within LCA and EPD, including writing proposals and participating in meeting clients</li><li>Leading development of our LCA related services and tools in collaboration with colleagues abroad and within other divisions of Ramboll</li><li>Provide expert guidance and act as mentor regarding LCA projects </li><li>Development of our customer relations and have focus on client network, especially with regard to corporate customers in the production and manufacturing industry</li><li>To contribute to ensuring internal consistency between our services within LCA, GHG accounting and EPD within Denmark as well as in collaboration with our colleagues abroad</li></ul><p><strong>We expect your starting point to be:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience with life cycle assessments and preferably with preparation of EPD’s</li><li>Experience with project management and leading projects</li><li>An interest in sales and business development</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English and possibly in Danish</li><li>Knowledge and experience in one or more LCA software tools such as SimaPro, GaBi or Umberto </li><li>Knowledge of LCA and EPD standards (ISO 14040/44 and EN15804)</li><li>A relevant academic education</li></ul><p>To succeed in the job, it is important that you can both develop and deliver, have a strong and professional foundation, high ambitions for your professional deliverables and a green heart, and meet your colleagues and customers with an open mind and a twinkle in your eye.
