We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials and represent a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
In our in-line analytical technology team, we are looking for a project manager with a background in analysis and characterisation to support the implementation of in-line analytical technology and secure progress of the in-line analytical development work in the team.
About the in-line analytical team
The analytical team consists of process development chemists and analytical chemists working together on projects at different maturity levels. All activities are based on use-cases, securing that implementation in real pilot or production is not far away.
Currently the team are working with several analytical techniques including NIR, IR, on-line HPLC and Raman.
The position
In this position you will be a part of the in-line analytical and process development team, where your main responsibility will be as project and scientific leader of the team.
A lot of stakeholder management is also to be expected, as it will be the responsibility in this job to push for implementation of in-line solutions at several stakeholders in Novo Nordisk
You will refer to the department head of department 3533 CMC Analytical development, but the daily work will take place via the in-line team consisting of members from several departments
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree within Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Engineering or other relevant discipline) and a PhD or similar experience. Ideally, you have gained a thorough understanding of the in-line analytical techniques and/or process development preferably within the pharmaceutical industry and have experience with implementing in-line analytical techniques in GMP environments and in validated IT control systems.
On a personal level, you are a team player who also enjoys driving own area of responsibility. You are dedicated towards meeting our common goal and you are not afraid to lead the way for your colleagues and stakeholders. You are eager to see things moving forward in a dynamic environment where projects and processes vary and therefore require you to be flexible and willing to adapt. Additionally, you are a strong communicator and able to communicate complex content to people with different backgrounds and skills, motivating them to hear and follow your ideas and suggestions.
