Apply today!The position As an Automation and Assay Specialist, you will be focusing on: Integrating instruments into complex analytical platforms Demonstrating expertise in data transfer and integration Programming liquid handlers and scheduling software Active participation in automation teams, driving further automation activities Evaluating and implementing new analytical methods and techniques Establishing new analytical assays on automated platforms Support drug development project with sample analyses Providing support to colleagues utilizing automation for sample analysis Qualifications To thrive and succeed, you have: A PhD in engineering, life science, or a related field Proficiency in biological assays and sample analyses Proven experience in applied automation Hands-on experience in constructing integrated automation platforms Proficiency in coding, programming, data integration, and IT systems A proactive and innovative mindset Experience in pharma or biotech is preferred, and familiarity with ELISA or LOCI technology is advantageous. Knowledge of Tecan liquid handlers and automated storage units is a plus.About the department Situated within Global Research Technology in Måløv, Denmark, the Department of Research Bioanalysis is responsible for analyzing peptides and proteins in biological samples. We cover animal samples (primarily plasma) and cell cultures and provide key data for PK profiling and assessing pharmacological effects of novel compounds. We support non-regulated bioanalysis for early PK- and PD studies serving drug development projects across multiple indications, including diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. Committed to expanding the use of automated analytical instruments and IT tools for sample and data management, we aspire to refine workflows that span multiple departments.You will join a high-performing, multidisciplinary Research Bioanalysis team, which includes seven skilled laboratory technicians, nine scientists, an associate scientist, and one laboratory technician trainee.
