The position
The role is based in the RNA Technologies department, where you will be a valuable member of a growing team involved in the research and development of RNA-based therapeutics. In addition, this position includes assistance to our Non-viral Delivery department, that we work closely with as we develop RNA therapeutics, including gene editing.
Primary tasks:
• Cell laboratory work including working with mammalian cells, in vitro cell assays and imaging.
• In collaboration with colleagues from RNA Technologies and Non-viral Delivery, plan and execute experiments.
• Support and facilitate a well-functioning cell lab.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we imagine that you:
• Have an education as a laboratory technician or equivalent.
• Have hands-on experience working with cell based in vitro assays.
• Have experience running diagnostics tools such as ELISA, WB, luciferase-based assays.
• Have experience with molecular biology techniques or cell-imaging.

• Structured and have a systematic approach to challenges with an optimization/LEAN mindset.

About the department
RNA Technologies is a young department with a purpose of enabling future development of RNA and gene therapies. The department is a part of the RNA and Gene Therapies area which belong to the Global Nucleic Acid Therapies area at Novo Nordisk. We are developing curative and disease modifying therapies for individuals living with serious chronic conditions, spearheaded via co-creational innovation with external partners. Treatment of disease mechanisms operating inside cells, including gene expression is enabled by emerging intracellular drug modalities. Using state of the art technologies, we are building genome editing and RNA capabilities, and establishing viral and non-viral drug delivery platforms, to enable disease-specific design of impactful drugs.
