The Position Due to rapid expansion, we have a new position as a Research Scientist in Endotoxin competence centre. The position is a balanced mix of:
  • Wet-lab development

  • Routine work in the laboratory

  • Interpretation/reporting of results

  • Using scientific background for development of assays

    • Important for the position is an interest in combining practical laboratory work and development of assays. You can look forward to using your skills and talent not only in our department, but across Drug Development which covers analysis, cell banking, drug product development and stability testing within the entire Research & Early Development (R&ED) clinical portfolio. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Master of Science or Ph.D. in protein chemistry, molecular biology, pharmacy, biomedicine, cell biology, biochemistry

  • Competences in areas of protein chemistry like simulations, purification, determining structure and function of proteins or protein/protein inter actions

  • Understanding of biophysical structure of molecules or biochemical knowledge about how complex molecules interact

  • Experience working with Lipids and knowledge of Lipid self-assembly

  • Interest in how data processing/programming potentially combined with robotics or liquid handling can be used to optimize the way we work

    • As a person you are a proactive team player that naturally builds relations to colleagues and stakeholders in the organization. You are an independent individual that drives initiatives to reach goals and meet necessary deadlines. Handling several tasks at the same time, and never losing sight of the end goal is very important. Close collaboration with experienced chemists and lab technicians is also an important part of most days. In addition, it is critical to be able to promote collaboration with other parts of the organization, as the position requires close interaction with many different stakeholders. You will also participate in cross-site groups with a focus on Pyrogens/Endotoxin. You are ready to learn a lot in a short time, and you know yourself well enough to communicate how you work best, so that we together can develop the best way to apply your skills and experience in a creative, fun, yet structured and productive way. About the Department In CMC Bioanalysis at the Novo Nordisk site in Måløv, we develop assays for analysis cell banks, in process samples, drug substance and drug product samples for the entire Novo Nordisk project portfolio in clinical trials all over the world. We are around 55 people organized in three teams, and you will join a team of 16 highly skilled and dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians who work closely together on projects to deliver on time at the required quality.
