Are you seeking an exciting job opportunity within an ambitious team where you can lead and provide direction for highly skilled analytical scientists and technicians? Do you have a strong interest in people and stakeholder management within a growing organization? If so, you might be our new Associate Manager within Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Oral Analytical Development. The position You will manage a team of approximately 20 highly skilled scientists and technicians, who are responsible for analytical support to our oral pipeline. The team partly operates according to GMP and covers a wide range of analytical methods, where most are based on chromatography. You perform as an inspiring, coaching and motivating manager, while balancing your stakeholder interactions in a complex and dynamic organisation. On a daily basis, you lead, direct and empower your employees and make sure we succeed as a team. You will report to the Senior Director and be member of an experienced management team. The main tasks will be to: Be responsible for team performance and for ensuring timely delivery of activities according to project deadlines and customer needs
Work proactively with your team and your stakeholders across Novo Nordisk
Have a strong focus on developing your team at both a personal and professional level
Play an important role in transforming our laboratories into a digital and automated setup and focus on creating a work environment that fosters enthusiasm and initiative
Qualifications We are looking for an Associate Manager who is passionate about leadership and people management. To be successful in this role: You hold a MSc degree within Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or similar relevant discipline.
You have pharma experience and are used to GMP requirements.
You are a passionate people manager who motivates and empowers your team.
You master the right balance between leadership and management.
You have excellent communication skills and must be fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.

You have an eye for improving team working conditions, as well as the ability to adapt to change and motivate employees through transitions. As a leader you focus your interest in your team's well-being and development and contribute to a positive, energetic, and high-spirited working environment. About the department You will be part of our early phase analytical development laboratory for oral products, a subunit of CMC Development & Scaling, Drug Product & Analytical Development located in Novo Nordisk Park, Måløv, greater Copenhagen. The department is responsible for both development and validation of analytical methods and QC release of oral products for preclinical and clinical trials (phase 1 and 2). We are approx. 65 colleagues in the department, organized in four teams working at non-GMP as well as GMP level.
