Senior Scientist with flair for project management and advanced laboratory equipment Are you motivated by driving improvement projects helping the business to implement and ensuring that future laboratory solutions live up to world-class standards with respect to productivity, quality, and robustness? Do you find advanced laboratory equipment and robots interesting to work with? Then you are our new Senior Scientist to drive scientific projects and qualification of equipment across the department. The Position As our new Senior Scientist, you play a major role in starting up and driving projects to support our business strategy. You will lead a variety of projects from optimization initiatives in a team to more complex tasks within our department or across departments. Furthermore, you will be one of the driving forces around advanced and computerized equipment and robots in our laboratory, and you will help set the direction for qualification, support and optimization. Your main tasks will be to:
  • Ensure successful execution and benefit realisation of department initiatives together with our engaged and skilled scientists and laboratory technicians

  • Work close together with the management group and defining and deploying our strategy making it a reality through our projects

  • Implement equipment and robots to office/laboratories rebuilding and coordinating process- and organisational optimizations.

    • You can look forward to using your project management skills and talent not only in our department, but across Drug Development which covers analysis, cell banking, drug product development and stability testing within the entire Research & Early Development (R&ED) clinical portfolio. Qualifications The optimal candidate for this role holds:
  • An academical background in life-science, engineering or similar

  • Experience within operations in pharma industry or a GMP regulated environment

  • 2 years of experience within project management

  • Proven experience in project management tools

  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English, Danish is advantageous

About the Department In CMC Bioanalysis at the Novo Nordisk site in Måløv, we develop assays for analysis of cell banks, in process samples, drug substance and drug product samples for the entire Novo Nordisk project portfolio in clinical trials all over the world. We are around 60 people organized in three teams, and you will join a team of 20 highly skilled and dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians who work closely together on projects to deliver on time at the required quality.
