The position As Integration Lead for Emerging Technologies (ET) Oral Product Development (OPDev) (Denmark/Ireland), your job will be to build and own strategies, plans and goals to secure that our newly acquired site in Ireland, will be integrated into the OPDev organisation to follow our Novo Nordisk (NN) processes but also to secure that we learn from our new colleagues and build the future best in class dual development organisation working across borders with a shared portfolio. Some of the main tasks will be to:
  • Provide and lead a strategic plan for the integration of the site in Ireland, securing the progression for the OPDev development pipeline while ensuring a harmonious and collaborative relationship

  • Consider the impact of decisions and initiatives on other areas of the organisation

  • Ensure transparent communication, planning and prioritisation across all relevant areas

  • Ensure scalability of solutions and understand the importance of involving various stakeholders

  • Be the link between Ireland and Denmark, helping with translation of NN processes and facilitating and driving workshops and meetings such as FTE strategies, building an efficient organisational structure and project resources

    • This role has wide stakeholder landscape, from OPDev management team to departments both in OPDev and across ET and Novo Nordisk; they will rely on your understanding and your ability to translate business needs into meaningful prioritisation, and it will also be your responsibility to expand the areas’ strategy and competences to follow the ambition and purpose of ET, Product Supply, Quality & IT and Novo Nordisk. Part of this will include securing cultural awareness and handling of differences. You will act as a role model and will ensure energetic project leadership that will motivate the people around you to be the best they can be, because they feel safe, supported, and challenged by you on a daily basis.  Since the oral pipeline is in growth and constant development, prioritisation, and willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities are key to success. This role offers great potential setting direction for the oral area and ensure communication and dialogue to a broad network within Novo Nordisk. Qualifications We are looking for a positive, proactive and solution-oriented candidate. Strategic and systemic skills is a pre-requisite and leadership experience is an advantage. You have a high level of energy to drive your projects and engage your colleagues and stakeholders.  To succeed in this role, you:
  • Have a master’s degree in project management, Business, Pharmacy, Engineering, or other relevant degree

  • Have extensive experience in project/change management from the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

  • Have a flair for handling complex project and organisational strategy and using systemic project management leadership

  • Have a good business understanding of manufacturing processes and development, understanding GMP regulated areas

  • Are fluent in English both written and spoken

    • On a personal level, you set clear direction but in an emphatic way, lead and motivate your stakeholders and colleagues to deliver their best and you have a desire to influence and impact others beyond your own area. You possess great communication and cooperation skills, as you will be in close dialogue with various stakeholders, including top management. In addition, you like to change processes to the better and are not afraid to take a risk, so you are able to work up to highest standards in the most simple and effective way.  About the Area ET is a new SVP area in Product Supply, which have a mission of taking all new platforms and products into Novo Nordisk. The oral platform is newly established thus fits perfectly in. In 2019 we got the first approval to send our GLP-1 based tablet to the market, and we are already represented in both US, EU and other parts of the world. The pioneer spirit is what characterise us. OPDev is an area that currently consist of 8 departments in Denmark and building new departments in Ireland, both sites with a broad core business and we are growing our organisation towards cutting complexity, enhancing competences and business excellence.
