Project Manager, Project Management Office (PMO)

You might be the Project Manager we are looking for to play a pivotal role in leading projects that are critical to achieving our business goals.

Managing projects across brands


Based at our office in Middelfart, you will manage projects involving product enhancements, end-of-life transitions, or new product development. It is a global role, as, in addition to Interacoustics, you will lead projects for our sister companies in e.g., Germany, the US, Italy, all being part of the [xxxxx] Diagnostics Group.

You will take the lead on projects once they have been scoped and approved. The project teams will consist of participants from different departments, such as product management, development (mechanics, electronics, software), procurement, quality, and production.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Creating overview of the tasks and dependencies and setting the targets.

  • Reporting deviations in cost, time and quality to relevant decision-makers.
  • Managing stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Leading projects in line with our development process ensuring proper documentation.

  • Estimating project resource needs and requesting necessary project team participants.

  • Preparing communication materials (e.g., presentations for the steering committee).

  • Participating in audits with review of documentation.


We will provide thorough onboarding to help you get acquainted with the department, organization, and processes, with plenty of support and advice from your PMO colleagues.

An ambitious and collaborative team


A few years ago, we established our PMO anchored in Global R&D at Interacoustics. While we have made significant progress, we continue to evolve and take on new responsibilities.

You will join a team of four experienced Project Managers. We operate in three main areas: business transformation, PMO excellence (e.g., ways of working, development model), and project execution. You will focus on project execution.

We are an ambitious and collaborative team that values knowledge-sharing. We prioritize work-life balance and laugh a lot when we have breaks together during our busy days.

You will report to Head of PMO, Anne Louise Damgaard, who is dedicated to continually improving the department to better support [xxxxx] Diagnostics’ overall strategy. She will show you trust, empowerment, and encourage you not to be afraid to make mistakes.

Are you the right fit?


We expect you to have some years of experience as a Project Manager or to have significant experience as a project participant, where you naturally take the lead to drive progress, have a holistic view, and are eager to understand the overall business. Through this work experience or your educational background, you have the technical understanding to identify dependencies and risks.

You are adept at navigating in all levels of an international organization and tailoring your communication appropriately. It is important that you excel in stakeholder management.

You treat people well. Your positive attitude and professionalism inspire and enable progress in the projects you manage. You approach tasks systematically and thoroughly.

It is a plus if you have experience in a highly regulated international company (e.g. pharma, food, medical devices).

Finally, you are fluent in English and able to work from Middelfart from day one.
