We are looking for a development manager ready to share and grow.
You will be based in Warsaw, and part of Team CCM, in BEC’s Infrastructure & Business Optimization division, where you will head Team CCM
Team CCM is responsible for developing the Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions for BEC’s customers. CCM is a central part of the communication between the banks and their customers. CCM covers all the process steps from generating documents to the distribution to the preferred customer channel.
The team is organized as a feature team and is using SAFe & Scrum for planning. As a feature team, the team is responsible for the whole software delivery journey from requirement to implementation in production. You will be responsible together with the team to facilitate the scrum ceremonies.
The team consist of approximately 11 passioned employees split between Denmark & Poland, and as Development Manager you will have the HR responsibility for all employees in the team.
Primary task and responsibilities
In the position as development manager, you will work closely with the management team within the Online Banking domain, product owners, architects, team members and other development managers in BEC to ensure cross-company collaboration.

You have an educational background in computer science at a Bachelor level or Master’s level and have prior experience with software development and agile methodologies. You and have relevant HR experience to lead a team of 8-10 employees.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Accountable for delivering team contribution of domain roadmap according to agreed objectives
- Set up and maintain delivery strategy and team organization to effectively deliver on team backlog
- Organize and manage performance of people, processes and technology to deliver on team backlog with clear roles, responsibilities, and processes across the value chain
- Develop and drive a culture of cross functional collaboration and coordination
- Ensure development meets architectural principles and guidelines
- Responsible for maintenance and operation of all systems/platforms in own team (System Ownership), including Incident and Problem Management, system lifecycle management etc.
- Responsible for “housekeeping functions” in team, e.g. compliance for Audits, Patches, Technical vulnerabilities, Exceptions etc.
- Contract ownership for contract related to document production and distribution
- Ensure team has necessary budget, resources, approvals and other support
- Communicate with key stakeholders and collect and share feedback
- Ensure transparency on decisions, progress, and results
