The position
As a Global Trial Manager in Novo Nordisk’s Clinical Operations department, you will play a vital role in our ambitious drug development programmes by executing phase II-IV global trials. We plan and execute clinical trials to produce the high-quality data and scientific documentation required by health authorities, to turn our promising pipeline of exciting new medicines into marketable products. You will be part of a best-in-class, ambitious development organisation with established procedures in place, hence allowing you to focus on driving change and innovation. You will facilitate strong collaboration between key partners contributing to trial conduct, such as medical, biostatistics, data management, pharmacovigilance, global affiliate colleagues and CROs to ensure successful start-up, conduct, and closure of clinical trials.

About the department
As a Global Trial Manager, you will be part of the Clinical Drug Development (CDD) organisation within the larger Development organisation. CDD is a project centric organisation driving the Development portfolio through world-wide clinical trial activities in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk colleagues around the world.
Together with our colleagues across the value chain in HQ and affiliates, we ensure through scientific evidence that can provide safe and efficacious treatment to people living with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and other chronic diseases.

The position

You will be part of a best-in-class, ambitious development organisation with established procedures in place, hence allowing you to focus on driving change and innovation. You will facilitate strong collaboration between key partners contributing to trial conduct, such as medical, biostatistics, data management, pharmacovigilance, global affiliate colleagues and CROs to ensure successful start-up, conduct, and closure of clinical trials.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver results with direct impact on a successful conduct of clinical trials
- Drive a successful collaboration with affiliate colleagues across the world
- Coordinate and ensure trial deliverables from key partners in HQ functions
- Conduct global monitor and investigator meetings and related training activities
- Ensure contracts are in place and oversee vendor deliverables and escalate issues
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- MSc or BSc degree in Natural or Health Sciences (chemical, engineering or similar)
- Practical trial management experience from working with interventional clinical trials as a Clinical Research Associate, Local Trial Manager, International Trial Manager or similar
- Practical clinical experience from working within the cardiovascular space as a Research Coordinator, Cardiac Nurse in acute cardiology or similar.
- Thriving with assuming operational responsibility and driving progress
- Professional proficiency in English
