The position
As Clinical Project Lead, you take on a senior role with extensive project management responsibilities. You will lead the global cross functional study teams driving the clinical trials successfully towards completion. You assume accountability for end-to-end planning, execution, and completion of 2-3 global trials. With this position you will also be acting as team lead of a group of designated Global Trial Managers and Clinical trial Administrators working with the studies and clinical activities for which you will be overall accountable.

About the department
In our project area we cover the entire spectrum of clinical activities within the Diabetes disease area from early phase 1 trials to larger phase 3a programs and phase 3b/4 life cycle management activities on our marketed products. This means you’ll have the opportunity to work on both large scale and smaller trials, and with colleagues across our affiliates. We work in close collaboration with our affiliates with no CROs involvement.

The position
As Clinical Project Lead, you take on a senior role with extensive project management responsibilities. You will lead the global cross functional study teams driving the clinical trials successfully towards completion. You assume accountability for end-to-end planning, execution, and completion of 2-3 global trials. - Ensure that project key deliverables are met on time, at a high quality and within budget by using your extensive project leadership
- Ensure solid operational trial management knowledge and experience
- Contribute directly to our core business and our focus on delivering new innovative treatments to the benefit of patients.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A MSc in Natural Science and five years of relevant experience or
- A BSc in Natural Science or equivalent with at least seven years of relevant experience (e.g., CRA, Trial Manager, study nurse, CTA)
- Extensive clinical project management experience
- The ability to impact the execution and improvement of core clinical processes.
