About the job
Carbon neutrality in the brewery sector is one of the tough challenges to solve. One novel idea dealing with this challenge, is to avoid distributing water over vast distances. Alfa Laval is now promoting a beer concentration technology, Revos, that makes it possible for manufacturers to ship less water and choose a better journey for their product – one with a significantly lower carbon footprint. Your challenge will be to:

The position is based in Søborg, Copenhagen, we expect approximately 75 traveling days a year.
Who you are
The paradigm-shifting nature of beer distribution through concentration requires a non-conventional sales strategy driven by a dynamic, entrepreneur-oriented business developer who secures business through direct engagement. Consequently, you are self-driven, structured and result oriented.
Building, maintaining, and creating customer relationships comes naturally to you, and you comfortably interact with stakeholders at any level, identifying business opportunities and commercializing them.
What you know
You have a strong commercial profile from international company properly combined with a business education such as an MBA. We expect you to be well founded technically, it could be with a Ba. In Engineering or equivalent to that. Experience in filtration technologies will be a plus. You are a skilled manager with experience in direct reports and shared personnel.
To succeed in this position, you:
You will find it challenging approaching CEO’s and C-level sustainability officers, product development managers and marketing teams in sectors where the carbon footprint benefit from Revos can be converted into commercial value.
Be able to convert resistance to adopt concentration technology and change supply chains, especially in markets where intermediaries play an outsized role in distribution and logistics, into opportunities for commercial success.
Align activities of internal stakeholders in Alfa Laval – sourcing, manufacturing, engineering & supply, parts & service – towards the global commercialization of the Revos technology.

About the job

Your challenge will be to:
- Turn Alfa Laval into the global leader in equipment and services for concentrated beer production based on Revos and reduce beer transport carbon emissions by up to 80%.
- Develop the market for B2B sales and service of the Revos portfolio of offerings.
- Build and manage a core team of dedicated direct and shared resources covering key functions to successfully commercialize Revos – sales, marketing, technology, service, and engineering.
- Be part of the Brewery Systems Sales Unit in Business Unit Food Systems, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, reporting to the Vice President of Brewery Systems.
Key tasks:
- You will drive and realize demand amongst c-level decision-makers seeking to reduce carbon footprint in their operations – the higher the rank, the greater the interest in Revos.
- You will drive the core messaging to c-level executives in key brewers and select hospitality sectors.
- This endeavor moves first in markets where required approvals for the Revos technology are in place, using the Alfa Laval Revos Innovation Centre (a dedicated test facility located in Alfa Laval Copenhagen) and trials to solidify buy-in and generate business.
- Manage the capital expenses and research and development initiatives related to the Revos portfolio, including the Alfa Laval Revos Innovation Centre.
- Grow the Revos portfolio in line with expectation from Alfa Laval management.
