Outsourcing Professional/Senior Outsourcing Professional Are you motivated by the opportunity of being part of an ambitious clinical outsourcing team? About the department Clinical Outsourcing Management supports Novo Nordisk’s Clinical Drug Development projects in driving and executing the clinical contracting process from request for information to signed contract, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. We are responsible for contracting and supplier management within the clinical area and for securing a strong clinical sourcing infrastructure. You will be part of one of our Clinical Outsourcing Management teams which consist of 13 dedicated colleagues where you will experience a high degree of individual responsibility in an engaging and professional environment. Clinical Outsourcing Management is a part of Clinical Drug Development. Clinical Drug Development are responsible for managing development worldwide from early clinical trials to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations, and business ethics. The position As an Outsourcing Professional/Senior Outsourcing Professional, you will be responsible for driving the clinical outsourcing process from request for proposal to signed contract in close collaboration with our Clinical Drug Development teams, Corporate Procurement, Legal and external suppliers. You will manage supplier relationships as well as supplier related risks and take part in integrating the clinical outsourcing strategy in the development projects. You may also be involved in following up on supplier deliverables globally for our patient interaction device. Day-to-day operation is a varied mix of above responsibilities and includes a high degree of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. As a part of Clinical Drug Development your main office will be at our site located in Søborg, Denmark, but you might experience some travel activity. Qualifications You have experience from sourcing, or a position closely related to outsourcing within the pharma or clinical research industry. Preferably, you understand the clinical development disciplines as well as supplier interaction from request to signed contract. You have flair for details and an interest in improving or simplifying processes. You are a team player and used to working in international and diverse professional groups, and you have a strong interest in business perspectives. The complexity of the sourcing solutions often demands curiosity and an innovative mind-set. Thinking creative and solution oriented is therefore a key to succeeding.
