As CMU HQ Manager you will have an important people management role. You will be responsible for an evolving area with increased focus on the importance of centralized oversight of Novo Nordisk’s monitoring activities across clinical development programs. You will be heading up a dedicated team of 7 specialists driving our HQ based Clinical Data Surveillance and Risk Based Monitoring activities. Qualifications
The ideal candidate have:
  • A master’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, science or similar
  • Cross-organisational experience working with clinical drug development and trial management
  • Experience with People Leadership, either direct leadership or informal leadership - or you are eager to take on this role and learn
  • An understanding and ability to work and navigate well in a project-driven matrix organisation
  • A strong command of written and spoken English
  • On a personal level, you are well organised and have solid problem-solving capabilities. You are a strong communicator and with empathy you ensure a sustainable work environment, build trust, motivate, and empower teams. You can keep your spirit high even when under pressure and have the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at any organisational level. About the department
    The Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) in Novo Nordisk headquarters (HQ) is a department in the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise. We work closely with all other skill areas in Clinical Drug Development, e.g. Trial Management, Data Management, Clinical Pharmacology, Biostatistics, the Global Clinical Operations organisation etc.

    The CMU enables decision making and trial oversight in clinical trial conduct across the global clinical trial portfolio. Key deliverables from our department are RBQM support for trial level risk assessment, development of reports for centralised monitoring and process facilitation to enable regulatory compliance and drive optimal implementation of risk-based study execution across the global NN organisation.
