Are you accountable and good at taking ownership? Then you might be our new colleague to join the Oral Semaglutide and GLP-1 Pipeline team in Global Medical Affairs Diabetes.
About the Department
As part of Global Medical Affairs Diabetes, Oral Semaglutide and GLP-1 Pipeline is the team responsible for driving medical activities and establishing the medical narrative across several GLP-1 pipeline projects in diabetes. The department is focused on providing strategic medical input to the broader organization through providing in-depth clinical and medical perspective from internal resources and out-side-in knowledge from Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in diabetes. There is high focus on utilizing medical knowledge and communication skills to drive impactful projects disseminating scientific and clinical knowledge internally and externally with the end goal of optimizing clinical decision making and guiding projects in the benefit of people living with diabetes.
You will be part of a multinational, highly motivated and very open and collaborative group where diversity and teamwork is highly valued, and individual development while contributing to the business is in focus.
About the Position
Your tasks involve collaboration with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including development, commercial and the broader medical affairs organizations as well as KOL´s. You will be working with a broad range of medical affairs related tasks, primarily focused around clinical data interpretation, presentation and communication. Due to the wide range of medical activities anchored in the department, you will be working with tasks mostly in the earlier stages of a product’s life cycle.
You will be driving internal and external educational tactics, publications and will be collaborating with the scientific community and Key Opinion Leaders to maximise the value of the projects anchored in the department with the end goal to benefit the people we serve and their health care providers.
The position will be based in Copenhagen. International travel of up to 20% per year could be expected in peak periods.
Your Qualifications
You are a Medical Doctor with previous clinical or research experience and preferably experience in the pharmaceutical industry within medical affairs or drug development. You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player, eager to learn and enjoy working in a diverse environment. You’re good at handling complexity and uncertainty, are well organized and thrive in an environment requiring a variety of your skill sets at the same time. You have a track record for delivering high quality results and are quick to adapt. The job requires that you excel at personal leadership and inter-personal skills and are fluent in spoken and written English.
