The position You will be responsible for execution of clinical pharmacology programmes and providing the clinical pharmacology scientific input for early and late-stage development projects within Obesity & Liver Diseases. Furthermore, you will be responsible for: Clinical pharmacology trial designs as well as interpretation and communication of trial results. Driving and coordinating activities in the headquarter study groups and collaboration with our affiliates and external partners involved across the value chain. Scientific communication and interactions with many internal and external global stakeholders. Represent Clinical Pharmacology in global project teams. Interaction with Health Authorities. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have: Master’s degree in Life Sciences, complemented by a Ph.D or equivalent scientific expertise. Experience with or insight to clinical pharmacology, preferably from pharma or biotech industry. Knowledge of clinical trial methodology. Knowledge of applied clinical pharmacology methodology including pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics or applied modelling. Drug development and/or regulatory experience. About the department The Clinical Pharmacology department is responsible for development projects within Obesity & Liver Diseases. We are a department of dedicated and highly engaged colleagues working in a flexible, collaborative, and cross-functional setting. We focus on new innovative technologies such as RNA interference as well as monoclonal antibodies, proteins, and peptides and oral administration of peptides. Clinical Pharmacology plays a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk. We work as an integrated part of development and research project teams, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology strategy and the scientific input to clinical pharmacology trials. We provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases, Health Authority interactions and regulatory submissions worldwide.
