Are you passionate about clinical pharmacology and drug development? Are you ready to join a newly established clinical pharmacology team, drive clinical pharmacology activities with your scientific insights, patient focus and with strategic impact in the M&S area dedicated to support the combination therapy CagriSema for the treatment of Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes and additional emerging indications? Then, this is your moment as we are looking for a Clinical Pharmacology Specialist, Medical and Science 3, Clinical Pharmacology, CagriSema. Together, we can create life-changing innovations for patients. The position You will be responsible for the clinical pharmacology programmes and providing the clinical pharmacology strategy for development projects for CagriSema which spans across multiple cardiometabolic diseases at various stages of development from phase 1 to 3. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
  • Clinical pharmacology trial designs as well as interpretation and communication of trial results.
  • Driving and coordinating activities in the headquarter study groups and collaboration with our affiliates and external partners involved across the value chain.
  • Scientific communication and interactions with many internal and external global stakeholders.
  • Represent Clinical Pharmacology in task force teams lead by project vice presidents to build the clinical development and regulatory strategy for CagriSema.
  • Interact with Health Authorities
    • Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, complemented by a Ph.D or equivalent scientific expertise.
  • Experience with or insight to clinical pharmacology, preferably from pharma or biotech industry.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial methodology.
  • Knowledge of applied clinical pharmacology methodology including pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics or applied modelling.
  • Drug development and/or regulatory experience.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

About the department The Medical and Science 3, Clinical Pharmacology department is responsible for development projects within CagriSema. We are a department of talented, dedicated and highly engaged colleagues working in a flexible, collaborative, and cross-functional setting. Clinical Pharmacology plays a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk. We work as an integrated part of development and research project teams, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology strategy and scientific input to clinical pharmacology trials. We provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases, Health Authority interactions and regulatory submissions worldwide.
