The position Your main responsibility will be to contribute to clinical trial development within one of our project areas. As such you will be part of a cross-functional trial team where you will take an active role in evaluating clinical trial data and be part of a team of statisticians and programmers working on creating tables and figures for reporting of the trial results. During the conduct of our clinical trials, you will be interacting with many different stakeholders such as data managers, medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers, medical writers and more – collaboration and stakeholder management skills are therefore important. Depending on your experience you will either drive or take part in statistical analyses of clinical trials, providing statistical input to protocols, take part in the study execution phase and reporting of studies as well as supporting colleagues in the area on other studies and ad hoc requests to the projects requiring statistical expertise from internal collaborators and health authorities. The open positions are within different project areas with the following focus: Insulins – in this therapeutic area we are handling statistical analyses of clinical trials within the disease areas of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. We have several projects in late phase clinical development.
Liver Disease – Currently, there are no treatments available to patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. In this therapeutic area we are building up the pipeline with a large number of molecules in the early phase of clinical development, assessing safety and efficacy of potential new molecules.
GLP-1 Diabetes & Alzheimer’s Disease – in this area we cover a variety of GLP-1 projects covering new molecules, label updates of marketed products as well as completely new indications.

Experience within clinical or bio-statistical research
It will be a strong advantage if you have: Hands-on knowledge of R, SAS, or other programming languages
Experience from a pharmaceutical company or another global organisation in a highly regulated industry
About the department Our Biostatistics organisation is almost 400 people with the majority located in Denmark and India, and smaller teams in China, Japan, Spain, UK and US.
