Søborg
Are you an experienced statistician looking for an opportunity to use your statistical knowledge and quality mindset to bring new products to registration and market? Do you thrive in an inclusive, engaging, and global environment? Then, this is your chance as we are looking for two experienced statisticians to join our Biostatistics organisation to take part in the clinical development of a new product.
Apply today for a life-changing career!
The position
Your main responsibility will be to contribute to clinical trial development within the CagriSema project area. We have initiated two development programmes for the treatment of obesity and diabetes. As such you will represent Biostatistics in a cross-functional trial team where you will take an active role in evaluating clinical trial data, assessing the impact of data quality on the statistical analyses, performing sample size calculations, explaining statistical requirements to e.g. medical doctors and trial managers, conducting the specified statistical analyses and interpreting and reporting the trial results. You will be part of a team of statisticians and programmers working on creating tables and figures for reporting of the trial results – and ultimately preparing for submission to regulatory authorities.
During the conduct of our clinical trials you will be interacting with many different stakeholders such as data managers, medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers, medical writers and more. You will need to clearly communicate statistical concepts and ideas to all our stakeholders and ensure cross-functional collaboration. The positions are based in Denmark and we are not able to offer relocation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
• Strong background in mathematics and statistics corresponding to MSc
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
It will be a strong advantage if you have:
• Experience from a global organisation in a highly regulated industry
• Experience with SAS, R or other programming languages
About the department
Your Biostatistics colleagues in the CagriSema project are located in Aalborg, Søborg and Bangalore hence we value flexibility, cultural diversity and virtual meetings. In general our Biostatistics organisation is 300 people strong with the majority located in Denmark and India and with smaller teams in China, Japan, Spain, UK and US. Primarily we perform our statistical work in-house, thus we offer a wide variety of statistical tasks and challenges and provide a large scientific community.
We always strive for an inspiring working environment with focus on collaboration and opportunities for personal growth and development. We ensure a positive and informal atmosphere in our daily work and a good work-life-balance.
