The position As one of our new colleagues, you will be involved in a great variety of tasks in close collaboration with many other skill areas. Your main role will be to support the clinical development strategy including the design, planning and conduct of clinical trials, interpreting data including assessment of risk-benefit, documenting results, and supporting regulatory submissions. You are expected to work in close collaboration with many other skill areas such as trial management, biostatistics, global safety, and regulatory affairs. Additionally, have interactions on a global level with colleagues in regional offices as well as external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, treating HCPs, and therapeutic experts. The role included some travelling activity of approximately 10 days per year. The workplace will be our office buildings just outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, but we offer a mobility package for new colleagues relocating to Denmark. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A university degree as a Medical Doctor.
  • Experiences in translational medicine and genetics will be an advantage.
  • Clinical drug development experience would be an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Proficiency in English as we work in a global environment.
    • You are a passionate and dedicated team player with good collaboration skills. The job requires a high degree of independence and team spirit as many decisions have a high business impact. Therefore, focus as well as flexibility is important, as several tasks will be coming from different stakeholders, and expectation management is key to success. About the department In Medical & Science, Clinical Drug Development, we are responsible for delivering state of the art medical and scientific input to clinical drug development plans from first human dose trials through to large clinical development programs aiming for product approval and market introduction. The projects are anchored in the Medical & Science Diabetes department which covers both insulin and incretin projects. We are a team of skilled medical doctors working with projects covering clinical drug development of treatments for diabetes ranging from preclinical assessment through Phase 1-4.
