Therefore, we are currently looking for a Trade Show Coordinator from October the 1st 2024 to October the 2nd 2025, to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Team and role

Join TERMA and play a pivotal role in our global marketing strategy as a Trade Show Coordinator. This position is essential in providing our sales team with the foundation for developing leads and nurturing existing contacts at exhibitions and trade shows worldwide. Your expertise will drive the success of our trade show efforts, ensuring we make a lasting impact on our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all trade shows, managing budgets and ensuring event success.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of trade show management, including research, site planning, budgeting, booth space booking, and logistical coordination.

Trade Show Execution:

  • Oversee the setup and teardown of trade show booths, ensuring consistency in design and layout.
  • Manage marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and shipping logistics.

Post-Show Activities:

  • Collect evaluations and write detailed post-show reports to analyze performance.
  • Maintain and manage exhibition equipment for future events.

Brand Consistency and Performance Tracking:

  • Ensure consistent stand design and layout.
  • Oversee global merchandise and giveaway web-shop.

Your role will be instrumental in driving the success of our trade shows and ensuring we make a significant impact on our audience.
You will join our marketing team of eight people with a worldwide responsibility for marketing our products and solutions across all business areas as well as the overall branding of TERMA. As our Trade Show Coordinator (maternity cover), your colleagues will look to you for inspiration, guidance, and domain knowledge. We work closely together and support each other in various marketing tasks whenever needed.

Qualifications

Your educational background is not decisive; the most important factor is your experience with Trade Show coordination. We are looking for someone who possesses the following:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: You should be skilled in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications to prepare documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, InDesign, and Photoshop: While not required, experience with these tools will be considered a plus. They can aid in marketing efforts and design tasks.
  • Willingness to Travel: You must be able to travel approximately 15-20 days per year to attend and coordinate Trade Shows, ensuring everything runs smoothly on-site.

To succeed in this role, you should have the ability to handle customer and stakeholder interactions effectively. We highly value a proactive and structured individual with the following attributes:

  • Strong Project Management Skills: You should be adept at planning, organizing, and overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring all aspects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Clear Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise effectively with diverse teams across different regions and business areas, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Proactive Attitude: A forward-thinking approach, anticipating needs and addressing potential issues before they arise, is crucial in maintaining smooth operations and achieving goals.
