Executing a business-transforming sustainability agenda and ambitions about being a sustainability leader in the industry

You work closely with Senior Management that prioritizes sustainability and making a difference when it comes to climate changes. This means that you work, and efforts get noticed and are supported.
Utilizing your broad knowledge of sustainability, frameworks, assessments, and much more
The role as Group Sustainability Manager is a strategically oriented role that balances between working with frameworks, advising, analyzing, and being hands-on in calculations and close interaction with the business. Together with key stakeholders, you identify, prioritize, and communicate trends and requirements. You translate these into data and documentation to the Executive Management, Board of Directors, managers, employees, and external stakeholder, and you initiate concrete actions based on data and findings.
Your tasks can be divided into 3 areas: 1) Strategy & Implementation, 2) Data & Documentation, and 3) Communication & Training. You work closely with and report to the Group CSR Director, and you work as a team and share the responsibilities between you. Some of your tasks are expected to be:
You may not be an expert in all, but you have in depth knowledge in some areas within sustainability
Most importantly, you are a passionate and self-driven person, and you move with ease between translating and executing strategies, preparing policies, and ensuring governance on the one hand – and on the other hand, you can also dive deep, be hands-on, and make calculations based on environmental KPIs. No matter, who you communicate with, try to convince to make changes, and want to collaborate with, you do it with empathy and humility, because you know, you are working with some of the best experts within Royal Unibrew’s industry.
Professionally, you are most likely working with similar tasks today related to sustainability, and specifically, you have experience from working with some or all the following:

- Calculate environmental and CO2 impact assessments based on LCA principles on materials, products, processes, and acquisitions.
- Develop, communicate, and make tools accessible to follow-up on performance.
- Drive SBTi development and implementation of relevant frameworks such as CDP, TCFD, EU Taxonomy and other relevant disclosure schemes.
- Identify and drive circular economy initiatives and potential options to harvest.
- Report on key findings to Executive Management and management in countries.

- Standards and schemes for Climate and CO2 impact assessments and calculations as well as other environmental impacts, and with strong skills in using Excel and systems.
- Reporting and working with specific frameworks such as SBTi and GHG and CDP.
- Advisory and making recommendations about what to improve / start doing to strengthen internal and external profile.
- Academic credentials on bachelor or master level from the university or a business school.
- High level in Danish, and fluency in spoken and written English.
- Advantage with knowledge of EU taxonomy and other legal frameworks, but not a requirement.
