Job Description

The Business Industry Architect will be proficient and aligned to a specific industry (Energy & Utilities) and will drive the opportunity solution strategy and outcome. This person will have at their disposal IFS’ extensive resource network, software solutions, dynamic pre-sales teams, extensive and referenceable customers and reach back to the subject matter experts required to be successful. This position will have a direct impact on driving new business to increase license revenue.

We are looking for an energetic person that can leverage broad technology knowledge, industry knowledge, enterprise software knowledge, and team building skills to win significant enterprise software license revenue.

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of enterprise business software architectures, deployment models, and technical platforms
  • Deep experience and familiarity with ERP, EAM or Field Service solutions, and how these solutions can drive improved business results
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of modern development tools and platforms
  • Good working knowledge of industry requirements, norms, and general expectations related to ERP, EAM and Field Service solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of, and experience with, sales and software demonstration processes and protocols
  • The ability to present effectively, to a range of audiences from C-Level to Line of Business, in a comfortable manner, and sometimes under pressure
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, with frequent schedule and requirement changes
  • Bias toward being proactive rather than reactive
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience required
