Do you want to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team with responsibility for setting and executing Novo Nordisk’s global insurance strategy as well as driving enterprise risk management? Do you have a flair for providing high quality business support and interacting with internal and external stakeholders at many levels? Then you might be our new Risk Advisor.

The position

As Risk Advisor, you will contribute to the development and execution of Novo Nordisk’s global insurance programmes by engaging in all aspects from analysis to negotiation either directly or in co-operation with our insurance brokers. You will take part in identifying and assessing both current and emerging insurable risks. Additionally, you will carry responsibility for the day to day management of insurance matters including claims handling.

You will gain broad insight into the Novo Nordisk business and organisation as you will be trusted to drive the risk reporting process where you will work closely with different parts of the organisation to ensure that relevant risks are identified and assessed.

We offer you a dynamic environment where you will build knowledge and capabilities within global insurance programmes, enterprise risk management, and general risk mitigating analysis. In addition you will work with a wide range of stakeholders both at national and international level.

About the Department

As our new Risk Advisor, you will be part of the Insurance & Enterprise Risk department. The team consists of 5 engaged and highly skilled professionals located in our headquarters in Bagsværd, DK.

The department is part of Corporate Treasury which also consists of the Corporate Financial Risk department responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s financial risks at group level and the Global Financial Risk department responsible for handling financial risks in affiliates.

Qualifications

You have a strong academic background with a Master of Science as a minimum in e.g. Economics, Finance or Business Administration and Commercial Laws. Preferably you have 1-3 years of relevant experience working with insurance programmes or enterprise risk management for an international company, insurance company, insurance broker or consulting house.

You possess strong analytical capabilities, and are well organised. In addition, you have highly developed communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and you enjoy project management work.

You are ambitious and a team player with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills and you work efficiently across functions and geographical boarders.
