Are you looking for an externally focused medical position in a patient-centric and innovative company? Then perhaps you are our new Medical Scientific Liaison in Neuroscience with additional focus on pipeline

takeda is patient focused, data driven and innovative and has a rich and diverse pipeline. To drive the medical strategy in Neuroscience including the pipeline in Denmark we are recruiting an MSL who is knowledgeable in the therapeutic area, agile and has strong communicative and collaborative skills.

You will report to the Medical Director, DK, and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and stakeholders in Denmark and across the Nordics. The position is ‘field-based’, so you are expected to spend up to 60 % of your time in the field with HCPs, and office time will be spent in Vallensbaek, Copenhagen. As your job will include working with pipeline assets and launch products, you should enjoy taking up challenges, be excellent in establishing and maintaining relations, and be scientifically strong enough to deep dive into new areas and become an expert. In return, you will be part of a professional and dedicated agile organization, and you will have strong influence on your own job content.

JOB PROFILE

Your main objectives include:

• Establishing excellent external relations based on scientific communication and bringing scientific insights back to the cross-functional team
  
  
• Being therapy area expert, understanding disease and treatment landscape and providing medical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders
  
  
• Building strategic value-based partnerships with HCPs
  
  
• Advocate for patient needs and driving collaborative projects with Patient Organizations
  
  
• Contributing to New Product Planning in the Nordic and Local organization, including evidence gap analysis and patient journey mapping.
  
  

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are a strong communicator of complex topics at all levels, and you enjoy scientific discussions with HCPs. You like taking initiative, building relations, and driving projects. You can create and drive a medical strategy in alignment with the overall strategy.

Education and Experience:

• An education from the Life Science Area (MD, PhD, M.Sc. Pharm., Advanced Nursing or similar)
  
  
• Strong MSL or similar relevant field facing experience
  
  
• An understanding of clinical development and clinical study design
  
  
• Strong project management skills
  
  
• Excellent networking and engagement skills
  
  
• Fluent Danish and written and spoken English
