We are recruiting a Senior Scientific Advisor to join the Global BioDermatology team responsible for a biologic treatment for psoriasis.
LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. In this position, you will assume a vital role in an intrapreneurial, multi-national cross-functional team of dedicated experts and curious individuals.
In Global BioDermatology you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.
The job
You assume a vital position and responsibility within the strategic creation, customization and communication of differentiating medical education and data - aligned with the commercial brand strategy:
Generate and/or drive publication of new scientific evidence, in order to further support the medical strategy
Provide market oriented medical input to trial design and protocol development of NIS and IIS proposals
Support and demonstrate role-model performance culture and leadership through cross-functional and external orientation, partnering within BioDermatology and key stakeholders within Region EU+
Plan and track development of relationships with global KOLs, including expanding relationships to relevant upcoming KOLs to maintain and grow a sustainable engagement plan
Gather and analyze medical competitive intelligence.
You inspire and motivate people with different backgrounds by proactively building effective working relationships and network connections throughout the organization.
Your qualifications
Medical Doctor, PharmD or other advanced life-sciences background Broad understanding and experience of the pharmaceutical industry required Experience of biologics is an asset Knowledge of the business context, culture and values of multiple countries/regions preferred Fluency in both spoken and written English
You have a balanced understanding of sense of urgency and priority setting – coupled with a pragmatic sensibility and flair for fun when appropriate. Engaged, dynamic and results-driven best describes how you approach your tasks. The ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment comes naturally to you.
