An internal trainer believes development is core for any organizations success.
In this role you are going to play a vital role in our global Academy to deliver top-tier training, continuous development of learning materials and be a part of the strategical change in Columbus to become a true Learning Organization.
We need a colleague who can deliver best in class training in a virtual setup, a strong communicator and facilitator. Could that be you?
Location: Denmark (Ballerup) or Sweden (Stockholm)

In this role as a trainer you will work in our digital academy team. You will develop and update training materials used for the virtual training session together with the Columbus Academy Lead and the rest of team. Furthermore, you will also be a key-player in the development of Columbus Academy as a whole.

It is important to stress that we are looking for a person that has training experience with interpersonal competencies, commercial mindset, facilitation processes etc. In other words, we are not looking for a product trainer but a people developer.
Travel days will occur as you are going work face to face with various stakeholder in Columbus, expect 2-5 trips per year. 🌐 In to time you will have to be flexible with your schedule to accommodate multiple time zones.

Your background
As mentioned, in the top 3-5 years of training experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher education centered around education/learning. You have solid experience with executing virtual training sessions through, Adobe Connect, GoToMeeting, Skype etc.
You have experience in developing training exercises and materials that fully supported the intended learning objectives.

You believe that learning is the key to unlock peoples’ potential and obtain new competencies. You are known for your keen eye to details and high-quality level. Your drive is high, and you do not mind a steering role when needed. You can work individually with a wide variety of tasks associated with training.
You have a high emotional intelligence – you can “feel the room” and you can hear what is not being said.

Columbus Academy is a part of Columbus’ global strategy and we offer a wide training catalogue to our 2000+ employees. Our mission for Columbus Academy is to provide best in class training for all roles and all seniority levels. Currently we offer an extensive program for our Business consultants. Every course we deliver is built on globally acknowledged learning methodologies and we deliver everything from traditional instructional design driven training to 6 weeks virtually blended training sessions.
In 2017 we piloted the first batch of virtual blended courses accumulating to 100 “seats” (1 person joining 1 course = 1 seat). In 2019 we are going to offer 725 “seats” for the virtual blended courses and more than 2.000 “seats” self-paced E-learning.
Since it's summertime (which means holidays), we will start phone interviewing for this role in August ☀️

- Weekly meetings with different learning groups focusing on bridging the gap between theory and daily work
