The position is linked to the Master-education in Clinical Nutrition, and includes teaching as well as planning and management of practical training in hospitals. This teaching is in Danish. The research conducted should mainly be in relation to conditions in hospital patients with a clinical perspective, in the field of human pathophysiology, quality assessment or rehabilitation/recovery after disease. Knowledge about the health system in Denmark and experience with patients will be appreciated, as well as knowledge about quality assessment and improvement in a hospital setting.
The assistant professor’s duties will primarily be research, including obligations with regard to publication/scientific communication and research-based teaching with associated examination obligations within clinical nutrition, physical rehabilitation and quality assessment. To a limited extent the position may also include other duties.

During your employment as assistant professor, you must participate in the formal pedagogical training program for assistant professors at the Faculty of Science.

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 408,730 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 69,893). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
