The Department of Food and Recourse Economics (IFRO) is Jointly with the Department of Science Education responsible for organizing and running courses in philosophy of science at BA level for a number of educations at the Faculty of Science. Also, the Department delivers teaching services for the philosophy of science course at the veterinary education at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The role of the teaching assistant professor is to be part of the team at IFRO that develops and runs these courses. The subjects taught besides philosophy of science also include applied ethics, both general ethical theory and issues relating to the specific areas of study, and other elements of a more general nature. The teaching will involve project work and include collaboration with teachers from the specific areas of study. Most of the teaching activities require Danish language skills at a high level.

Assessment of applicants will primarily consider their qualifications in the area of applied ethics and philosophy of science. Teaching qualifications are not mandatory but documented teaching qualifications and teaching experience will be considered as described above. The level of Danish language skills will also be taken into consideration.
