CO-RO is currently on the lookout for a Liquid Development Scientist to lead and manage the delivery of assigned new product development projects globally for all our CO-RO brands. We offer a permanent position in a stimulating, international workplace within a professional organization focused on linking solid scientific research to business opportunities within the non-alcoholic beverage industry.
The Position
This is a unique opportunity to enter a Liquid Development Scientist role with full ownership of the product development cycle – from initial idea generation to final product on the shelf. You will work with all markets and all brands of CO-RO – and enjoy global reach in your stakeholder management. You will collaborate closely across functions – working with departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Innovation, Procurement, Quality and Finance.
We take great pride in our tangible products, and you will be able see, feel, smell and, most importantly, taste them every day. Operating out of our modern Innovation Center with state-of-the-art equipment, you can focus on what you do best; develop products. Your role is pivotal for us to continue to serve and rapture consumers with 3.5 billion of high-quality fruit-based soft drinks a year. You will play a crucial role in developing new products across categories – and characterize our beloved brands that have refreshed and delighted consumers across borders for the last +75 years.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate comes with a minimum of three years of experience within the non-alcoholic beverage- or food industry. It can either be from a similar scientist position or as a Senior Laboratory Technician. Furthermore, to be considered for this role you must possess either a Bachelor of Science Degree in a food-related science field, such as Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Engineering. Alternatively, candidates with a laboratory technician diploma will also be considered, provided they can demonstrate a proven track record of experience as a laboratory technician.

As a person you are a true team player and eager to contribute to all workflows in the department, excited to learn, and able to work independently. You have strong communication skills with fluency in English (both written and spoken). Danish language is an advantage but not a requirement.

As our new Liquid Development Scientist, your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Being the technical lead of assigned projects, and proactively coordinating the projects to ensure knowledge dissemination throughout the Liquid Development team, projects teams & organization
- Sharing your expertise on liquid development while having the knowledge and capability to cover any category and all parts of the process from formulation and raw materials to production
- Being responsible for the development, technical transfer, and implementation of analytical methods, products, processes, and method of manufacturing into the manufacturing environment
- Having the responsibility for the technical correctness of all raw material and product specifications, technical tolerances, and regulatory compliance

- Are proficient in operating laboratory equipment related to intermediate & finished product development
- Have a proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully
- Have a demonstrated ability to co-ordinate multidisciplinary team and project activity interacting with other departments and operating with external partners
- Are able to apply scientific principles and techniques to assigned projects
- Have good knowledge of R&D process and associated commercial environment
