We are looking for a scientist for our Clinical Development team in the Human Health business unit at Chr. Hansen A/S in our headquarters in Hørsholm, Denmark. The position is a temporary (12 months) maternity cover.
The team for you to join
You will be part of the HH Clinical Development team, where we are responsible for clinical development and scientific documentation of our probiotic strains, from early development to managing customer collaborations and investigator-initiated studies.
You will be a key member of cross-functional project teams driving Chr. Hansen’s clinical trials to completion according to agreed timelines and quality uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. You will join a team of 4 dedicated scientist and one student.

What would your role look like?
Your main responsibilities and tasks are:
- Responsible for overall design, planning, conduct, reporting of clinical trials
- Responsible for selection and oversight of CROs and vendors including identification of potential research collaborations
- Participate in project core team meetings with internal stakeholders from Commercial Development, Innovation, QA and production, and other functional areas, as a clinical expert
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the department’s procedures to secure best practices
Who are we looking for?
You have a relevant scientific education (Human Biology within infectious diseases or Human Nutrition) combined with a minimum of a few years of working experience, preferably within clinical development.
In addition:
- You feel comfortable in leading trials and drive timelines and deliverables within the cross-functional project team
- You have a ‘we-do’ mindset that reflects your communication and collaboration in cross-functional project groups
- It is an advantage that you have experience or interest in working with developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and research networks
